Kent RaG are not just dedicated to our own fundraising but also to help you with yours. Whether you're a team or society, a challenge participant or just an individual who wants to do some fundraising at univeristy, we are here to help. We hope this page will be a good starting point for fundraising at Kent.

Bucket Requests
DUE TO THE CURRENT CLIMATE, WE HAVE BEEN TOLD BY KENT UNION TO NOT ISSUE ANY BUCKETS. IF YOU STILL WISH TO HOST A FUNDRAISER THEN EMAIL KENTUNION@KENT.AC.UK AND SOMEONE WILL BE ABLE TO ASSIST YOU FURTHER.
If you wish to fundraise at Kent we have procedures in place to supply you with buckets and tins to be used for the fundraiser. This can be done through the form linked here on our website.
The process goes as follows:
Fill out the bucket request form with all the relevant info.
This goes through to our finance team who then make up the buckets. They will have labels on with the relevant information and will be sealed. The day the finance team works changes year on year so make sure to put your requestin at least 5 working days in advance.
You will receive an email when they are ready to collect from the Mandela building. You show this email to the reception and you will then be able to retrieve your buckets.
Have your fundraiser! Go have an amazing event and raise as much money as you can.
Hand your buckets (still sealed) back to Mandela reception.
The RaG Finance Team will count the money you have raised at their next count and email you to let you know how much was raised.
Kent Union will then either send off the money to your chosen charity or split the money between your society and the chosen charity.
Note that when fundraising through this procedure the money raised can be split up to 60:40. This means that up to 40% of the money you raise can go back into your team or society!
Kent RaG is here to support all societies in their fundraising at the University of Kent and therefore would like to offer our services to advise and aid with any fundraising event you may wish to put on.
